The young full-back Another assured performance from the rising star following his debut versus another side. A teammate failed to make the opportunity from a gorgeous backheel over the opposing backline. The role is firmly his already. 7/10

The newcomer A debut start with the national team. A bit loose in possession though his dangerous deliveries caused problems. A useful game manager available to the coach to utilize against sides that sit back. Booked for a rash challenge. 6/10

The midfielder Set-pieces on corner kicks and free kicks were dangerous. Was given room to roam down the left flank only to be in an offside position as the pass came in shooting positions. Given a merited rest after an hour. Six

Jude Bellingham Played in a high spot out wide and also contributed with the hard yards. Showed flashes of quality but dragged an attempt high. Substituted in the closing stages for a teammate, his rival, after receiving a caution. 7

Jarrod Bowen Had England’s clearest opportunity in the opening period, his effort excellently kept out by Thomas Strakosha. With Quansah hanging back, he had to stretch the play on the right but his crosses from the touchline varied in quality. Replaced late in the match. 6

Harry Kane The difference-maker with his two more strikes for his country. The first a classic opportunist's goal while the second a superb headed goal having drifted away away from the opposition. Aged 32, his form is unwavering and England have every chance in future competitions with him up top. 8/10

The attacker Had difficulty to make an impact on the left flank. Had a good opening when set up from a teammate but the keeper made the save. Rashford produced a bigger an impact in his place. Five
